You catch the Swine Flu When a Sick Person
Sneezes! The virus is very small and it will be all around us. When a
person sneezes, the
droplets can reach up to 150 feet a
second. We Inhale the large droplets or touch the Germ After it falls from
the Air.
The World Health Organization says that up
to two billion people will catch the swine flu over the next few
years.
The virus is very small and it will be all around us. It is only 80 to
120 billionths of a meter in diameter.
If you are one of the
people in the high-risk groups, you cannot afford to take chances. If you
catch the swine flu, you could easily have fatal or life threatening
complications. Parts of this information is from the
study that the CDC (Center of Disease Control) made after the H1N1
flu appeared early in the outbreak in the United States. There were
268 patients hospitalized and died. People with underlying health
conditions were in large numbers. For example, people who had asthma
were 32% of the group even though they are only 8% of the US
population. Even with seasonal flu diabetics, those with heart
disease and pregnancy have a higher-risk of serious or fatal
flu-related problems. These people need to avoid the swine flu at
all cost!
The World Health Organization and the CDC said
that the people in the following groups have increased risk of
severe and fatal problems when they catch the swine flu:
1. Children 0-4 years old
Graph A below shows that children between
0-4 had the highest hospitalization rate during this period
of admittance. (but especially children younger than 2 years
old)
These are H1N1 symptom WARNING signs for
children who need emergency room visits or help from a
doctor.
1. Fever lasting more than three days
2. Difficultly in breathing or fast breathing
3. Gray or bluish skin
4. Dehydration
5. Not interacting or difficulty waking up
6. There flu symptoms get better but return later with a worse cough
and fever
7. Severe or constant vomiting
8. They do not want to be held or they are irritable
2. (5 to 24 years
old) with no underlying health problems. Graph
B shows that the 5 to 24 years old had the highest
hospitalization rate during this part of admittance.
3. (40-49) year-olds are the group most at risk
Once they are
infected. Graph C are the actual deaths by age
groups.
4. Pregant women
According to the CDC,
since April through October 2009 there have been approximately 700
reported cases of swine flu in pregnant women. One hundred needed
intensive care and 28 died. This means 4% of the total died. The average death
rate for the 1918 Spanish flu in 1918 was
2.5 %
and it killed from 50
to 100 million people worldwide.
5. Respiratory
disease
6. Chronic lung disease [such as ASTHMA or chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease
(COPD)]
7.
Cardiovascular disease
8. Diabetes
9. Neuromuscular
disorders (such as muscular dystrophy and
multiple sclerosis)
10. Neurological
disorders (such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, brain or spinal
cord injuries, moderate to profound intellectual disability [mental
retardation] or developmental
delay)
11. Kidney problems
12. Heart disease
13. Adults over age 65
14. Obese people
15. Blood disorders (including sickle cell
disease)
16. Weakened immune
systems or Suppressed immune systems (such as people
with HIV or AIDS or
who are on medications that weaken the immune system
)
17. Cancer
18. Liver
disorders
A swine flu pandemic will
challenge the world. Here are a few problems it will
create.
The experiences from patients in the southern
hemisphere during their flu season show no middle ground. Either most
people would have mild symptoms or some people in the above high-risk
groups would develop severe symptoms. Severe swine flu
cases cause the following problems:
If
you have breathing problems, it could be due to acute lung
injury. Get professional help immediately
.
The lung injury causes hypoxemia or lack of enough oxygen
in the blood
Many Patients need
advanced technological equipment to survive
This
equipment needs highly trained professionals to operate them.
Patients need long and expensive care
There are not enough intensive care units During a large swine flu surge, many people could pass
away due to lack of care During a swine flu pandemic, sick people will be
sneezing all around you. They will be in cars, office rooms, stores,
schools, at lunch, all around.
You could be talking to ten
friends, loved ones, and other people you know in a room. Five out of ten
of your friends eventually could catch the deadly virus. Some of them
could pass away.
You might stay at home to avoid catching the swine flu. Expert
predict 1/3 of you will stay home. However, how long can you stay at
home and still pay the bills? I think that many of us will go broke.
A bad swine flu pandemic
could last up to 2 years. You will need to change things quickly, things
you have done for years. Most people will not have the tools to do
so.
You and I
learn most new things through TRIAL AND ERROR. Our problem is the virus
has no mercy. You cannot make major safety
mistakes.
A flu pandemic is no joke but a challenging event.
The good part is you can learn what to do now. We will show you how to
avoid the swine flu.
Why
YOU need this guide?
* Any doctor will tell you it is better to prevent an illness than it
is to cure it.
*We have the
easiest and quickest way to learn the facts you need!
* It is
like going to school and learning by doing. Answer the question and a nice
or stern voice will give you the answer.
* There is
a lot of good information out there and it is useful. However, what good
is it if YOU, cannot remember it when you need it? We cannot SEE, SMELL,
HEAR, or FEEL the virus.
* You need
to have good safety habits to lower your chances of getting the flu. We
show you how to do it.
* These are
some of the things you should not do during a swine flu pandemic. One of
them is touching your face. It is something we do. It will not be easy to
stop. We show you how to stop it by reminding repeatedly.
* Doing
something repeatedly frees the brain. Each time you repeat it, it makes
the habit stronger.
Congratulations! You have made the first
step. You are reading information that will help you control your habits therefore
lowering your chance of catching the flu. Success is in the details.
I created this interactive guide to solve these
problems.
I will not sugarcoat things. I will let you know
about mutations in the germ so that you will have time to prepare for a
more dangerous virus. Also, I will give you tips you can use to BEAT
IT.
I sleep like a baby knowing that others, and I,
will get through this ugly event SMELLING LIKE A ROSE.
This guide trains you to react to hundreds of things
quicker than reading a book.
Humans forget 80% of what we read after 24 hours.
Save your TIME, LEARN what you need to know FASTER. Some studies
show this kind of training can drop learning time up to
25%.
Studies have shown that people remember 20% of what
they see. 40% of what they see/hear. And 70 percent of what they see/hear/do.
A study by J.D. Fletcher for the Institute for Defense
Analysis found that this kind of training could help learning up to 25%
over reading a book.
People will need to change HABITS overnight that
they have taken their entire lives creating. The ones who do not will have
a good chance of getting the virus.
Habits are natural involuntary actions we get from
repetition making things easy to do. We will need to form new habits
like the following:
1. Learn to not touch our face with
our hands.
2. Learn how to use safety gear properly.
3. Also, things like how to stay clean in the
bathroom.
4. And, other things like how to prepare to eat.
Wait a minute did you understand what I just
said? It is not easy to change involuntary actions you do every
day.
Try not touching your face all day and you will see
that it‘s-not going-to-happen. We all must touch our face; scratch our
nose, eyes, and ears.
If we know not to touch our face, it makes us want
to touch our face even more.
Habits are a blessing; thank gods, EXCEPT when you
try to change them. OH YES, they make many things easy to do. People do
things they do daily as if a SUPER STAR and they do not know it. Their
response is easy with no effort.
People forget doing things. That is the problem. The
wrong response can be fatal.
In the
martial arts, we train hard to make the right move without…THINKING. If
you must think about it, then your move will be late. That is why students
will do things repeatedly. Even in
a hurry,
they learn to respond with what they should do.
If you do not practice enough, then you will go back
to your old ways. Therefore, the most important thing to build the right
response is the number of times you do it. Every time you do, it
reinforces your new habit.
Studies
have shown that it takes about 21 days to form a habit. That is if you do
what you are supposed to do each day for 21 days. Then presto you will
create what experts call a "Habitual Response,"
it is like smiling when you are happy or frowning when you are
sad.
Also, you must "use it or lose it." It is like using
numbers for a lock at the gym daily you will remember it. But, stop going
to the gym for a month or two and bang you have lost the numbers.
You must practice after the 21 days to maintain your
habit. How do we change habits? We use over 170 QUESTIONS, ANSWERS AND
what if’s to build how you react. You can train daily.
Here are questions that are in the guide. Please
answer them and view the details.
3b. If someone catches the swine flu, that person should stay in
isolation or self-quarantine for five days. True False Details
4b. If you catch the flu and
recover, you can go back to work in a few days. True
False Details
Once a flu wave starts, you must know all about it.
Strong flu activity could come in waves lasting six to eight weeks then
calm until the next wave.
All the waves could be deadly but some probably be
more than others will. The first wave could be less strong than the second
wave. The fourth wave could be weaker than the third wave. However, all of
this is guesswork using the 1918 Spanish flu as a guide. You need to know what
is going on in your area so you can decide when to work and go out.
Some areas had their most deadly activity in the 4th
wave. And some areas missed the first two waves. You need to stay informed
in order to change your plan to what is going on in your
area.
Consumewise will provide a newsletter to let you
know about impotant events. It will be for those wanting to know about things
that could make a big difference.

I will help you make a plan. There are important
things that will come up. You will have to make some smart DECISIONS. Only
you can decide what your plan will be because only you know what you have
to work with.
Success is in the details. Another thing about this
manual is it covers fine points others do not. Believe me not catching the
swine flu will be hard.
The virus is very small. It will be all around us.
It is only 80 to 120 billionths of a meter in diameter. When a person
sneezes, the droplets can reach up to 150 feet a second. When the moisture
from the droplets dries, it leaves behind thousands of flu germs. These
germs can float through the air polluting where they land. This guide
covers the loose ends.
Respect it by covering all the loose ends. The
DETAILS, you increase your chances of not catching it. Up to half of the
people in the world could catch it.
Some of the loose ends we need to cover are as
follows: When in an area where the the virus might exist we
should not do any of the following:
1. We should not smoke
2. Drink
3. Eat
4. Apply lip balm
5. Or cosmetics
6. Handle contact lenses
7. Or touch our eyes
8. Nose
9. mouth
10. Or
ears with our hands
What to do
when in an area where the the virus might exist is good
to know. However , knowing this will not cause you to stop doing
all those things. This guide will help you create good habits for the
scenarios above.
The above means outside the home:
1. WE CANNOT EAT WHILE IN A GROUP OF PEOPLE
2. in a room where people WERE not long ago
3. Before WASHING OUR HANDS,
4. with our gloves on,
5. after SOMEONE ELSE MADE FOOD FOR YOU.
We are only talking about the "EATING" part of the
STATEMENT.
Here is how we handle many subjects.
Before you go out for the day, you should check your
hands for cuts or sores, because people catch the germ through these entry
areas. Cover a cut or a sore with a bandage.
I do not suggest you do certain things such as
SHAKING HANDS with your bare hands but if you do wash your hands ASAP. If
you are wearing safety gloves you will wash your hands when your
1. Gloves have been damaged
2. When going to the restroom
3. Before eating in a safe place
Never drop your guard and allow yourself to become
lazy.
One of the best ways to avoid getting the flu is to
wash your hands a lot. Wash your hands to get rid of those germs picked up
from polluted areas.
Also, take off your:
1. Jewelry
2. Including bracelets
3. Chains
4. Rings
5. And watches because
contamination occurs easily
Wash your hands
correctly.
The bug is only 80 to 120 billionths of a meter
across. We beat it with the details.
First,
wet your hands with water.
Use good
soap on our hands.
Rub your hands thoroughly for at least 30 seconds,
making sure to cover all areas of the hands and fingers. Count to yourself
one thousand one, one thousand two, until completed. Use warm water and
scrub your nails by rubbing them against the palms of your hands. Click here to see how to do
this. (Turn water off while rubbing and washing hands using a hand towel .)
Many public restrooms now do not have hand towels anymore.
This will force many people to touch the door handle and the water facet
knobs. This will cause many people to get the germ on their hands. I
suggest that you bring enough towels to last the day.
Rinse your hands with warm water for at least 30 seconds
when there is a lot of water or at least 15 seconds when there is not a
lot of water. Do not become lazy rinsing your hands. Your hands should
become hard to rub after a while this means the germs are gone.
Dry your hands with a paper towel that you have
brought along with you.
Turn off the faucet using the paper towel. You
could get the virus from the handle.
Do not stick your hands in your pockets just
before eating because your pockets could have germs in them.
Then use a 70-90% alcohol wash. Keep all hand
cleaning and all products containing alcohol away from children. Small
children may eat the product causing serious health problems.
Use a lotion to stop dry skin from a lot of hand
washing. Avoid using oil-based hand creams when latex gloves are used.
These products may cause latex gloves to fall apart.
This guide will help you create these habits.

Russ Farris I have spent many years as a real estate salesperson and as a broker
at Farris Mortgage and Investment Company. And I have sold many other products
including cars and yellow page advertising. I created a training CD that
teaches people how to save money buying a car. It is much like this
guide.
I think there is an ART to all things in life. I
started learning the arts while at the University of Colorado. There I
started taking karate. From there, I moved to California and got my black
belt in Tang Soo Do. I became a good fighter taught by the great Chuck

real estate. Karate taught me how important small details are to success.
I saw the great Lance Armstrong in an interview and he talked about how
important the finer points were to his training.

The pandemic could get much worse than it is now.
All that needs to happen is the swine flu H1N1 mixes with the bird flu,
BANG humanity could have a serious problem, and billions of dollars in
vaccines would become useless. This will help you if the virus mutates and
becomes worse.
The key to survival during a severe Swine Flu
Pandemic is a strict and ruthless SELF-QUARANTINE! Therefore, we must
focus on making the SECURITY of our quarantine environment a
...PRIORITY.
Home Security is an e-book on how to protect Your
Family and Property by BizzyDays Publications. During a severe Swine Flu
Pandemic, we will not be able to DEPEND ON THE POLICE and there will be
many desperate people. It makes sense that crime will increase. It is
important that you make plans for negative scenarios that will occur to
some people and practice your plan with loved ones.
Pay special attention to the section on the TEN BEST
WAYS TO HIDE YOUR VALUABLES IN YOUR HOME. During a pandemic, two of the
most important things you will need to hide are WATER and FOOD. What are
you going to do if somebody steals all your food and water? We also should
keep a SMALL amount of MONEY in our homes because banks cannot operate
without electricity. Many businesses will not accept credit card
transactions due to the uncertainty of the situation. This is a $10 value.

3c.
It
depends on the person. There are no set numbers of days. It could be
seven days from the first sign of the flu or more. As long as that person is
showing signs of illness, they could pass the disease to someone
else. Back
4c.
I would be careful many cases are reporting bacterial
infections striping the lungs and pneumonia. If the sick person has a
severe case do not force the issue stay patient before going back to
work. Back
